According to our current weekly forecast, from July 11 to 17, there will be 14 cruise ships arriving at the Port of Vancouver and the city will host 2 meetings and conventions starting from July 17. We are seeing a flat demand in overall air bookings to Vancouver as compared to the previous week, with a slight decrease in hotel bookings.

We are pleased to see that our weekly forecast is helpful to members. Based on member input, we will be presenting the forecast one week in advance moving forward. You will now be able to receive the latest forecast for the next week based on the latest data from our research & business insights via Member Enews.
For the next week's forecast, July 18 to 24, there will be 12 cruise ships arriving. Six meetings and conventions are coming up, including one citywide event - American Academy of Dermatology - 2022 Summer Innovation Academy Meeting. Another special event – Honda Celebration of Light 2022, starts on July 23. We are seeing an increase in both air and hotel bookings for Vancouver during this time.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS

Due to popular demand, Destination Vancouver is pleased to offer our member hotels the opportunity to have an additional allotment of padded Vancouver “tear-off” maps in quantities of up to 3000 maps (30 pads of 100) per hotel or attraction member; or up to 5000 for Downtown Convention Hotels.
Although we are reviewing the sustainability of printing maps for unlimited use going forward, we wanted to provide an additional allotment for members who may be needing them for the balance of the peak season, and into the fall. If you would like to order a batch of this limited supply of maps, please indicate your contact info and pick your quantity using this Order Form. Only one order of these pre-printed complimentary maps is permitted at this time and members are responsible for collecting their order from Metropolitan Fine Printers. Orders must be picked up no later than Friday, August 12th.
