BUSINESS INSIGHTS
|
|
According to our next weekly forecast, August 8 to 14, there will be 14 cruise ships arriving at the Port of Vancouver along with two known convention meetings. The large citywide convention - SIGGRAPH 2022, starting from Sunday, will continue to August 11. We are seeing a significant increase in overall hotel demand for arrival to Vancouver during this time. However, air bookings for next week have dropped compared to this week – perhaps due to the early arrival of convention delegates this week.

Order your Vancouver city maps
Destination Vancouver is pleased to offer our member hotels the opportunity to have an additional allotment of padded Vancouver “tear-off” maps in quantities of up to 3000 maps (30 pads of 100) per hotel or attraction member, or up to 5000 for Downtown Convention Hotels.
Although we are reviewing the sustainability of printing maps for unlimited use going forward, we wanted to provide an additional allotment for members who may be needing them for the balance of the peak season, and into the fall. If you would like to order a batch of this limited supply of maps, please indicate your contact info and pick your quantity using this Order Form (make sure to include the full address, even if you are sending a courier to pick them up*). Orders must be picked up no later than Friday, August 12th.
Pre-submitted map orders can be picked up during office hours 11am to 4pm at the following location:
