BUSINESS INSIGHTS
|
|
From May 5 to 11, a total of 14 cruise ships will be arriving with an estimated 39k passengers. We have eight known conventions & business events/meetings on the books; including two citywide meetings; each of which is expected to generate over 1,000 meeting delegates. Plus, four additional events will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre during this period. We are seeing an increase in both hotel bookings and air bookings for the next week compared to the current week; especially from the US and overseas markets.
