Thank you for making our Summer Member Mixer a resounding success!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Mixer at the Stanley Park Pavilion. It was a delightful afternoon and likely our best mixer ever. A special shout-out goes to the incredible team from The Capilano Group for hosting us and creating such an incredible experience. We would also like to extend our thanks to Siegel Entertainment and musicians for the added garden party ambiance. Finally, our heartfelt appreciation to the team from Theatre Under the Stars for generously providing each guest with a complimentary ticket to their upcoming show The Prom.
The team at the Stanley Park Pavilion would like to thank all the members who attended and extend a special offer of a 25% discount on room rentals in 2023. You can reach them at bdonnelly@stanleyparkpavilion.com. In addition, TUTS is excited to offer a discount code, DESTINATIONVAN23, valid throughout the month of July for any performance of THE PROM or MATILDA. This code will provide a $10 discount on each ticket purchased from the regular price.
If you are interested in hosting a member mixer, please feel free to share your ideas with Cristina Hernandez.
We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Vancouver Ranks Fifth Most Liveable City in the World
Vancouver has retained its standing among the top five most liveable cities in The Economist’s annual Global Liveability Index, ranking fifth most liveable city in the world for 2023. The concept of liveability is straightforward: the Index assesses which locations around the world (among the 173 cities included this year) provide the best or worst living conditions. More than 30 qualitative and quantitative factors are assessed across five broad categories: stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure. With an index of 97.3/100, Vancouver scored the highest ranking of all other North American cities included in the survey.

BUSINESS INSIGHTS
|
|
From July 3 to 9, 13 cruise ships will be arriving with over 45k passengers. There are two meetings on the books. We are seeing a decrease in both hotel bookings and air bookings for Vancouver next week compared to the current week. This may be due to less meetings and events occurring for the coming week.
