Destination Vancouver’s Member Services Review Kicks Off
The review of Destination Vancouver’s member services program, and our current membership and governance model, is now officially underway.
The work completed over the past couple of years to transform our purpose and mandate necessitated an equally robust consideration of what will keep Destination Vancouver relevant and ensure we continue to provide value to our members, industry stakeholders and to our destination.
Resonance Consultancy has been engaged to work with Destination Vancouver on this foundational project. Resonance is locally based, a leading global advisor in tourism and economic development to cities across the world and have worked with us previously.
Over the coming weeks you’ll start to receive a series of communications which provide more detail on the review, opportunities to participate in focus groups and other ways to share your opinions and ideas. Member and industry engagement is absolutely essential for the review to be a success.
As the project progresses, we’ll provide regular updates and share learnings through eNews.
Look for emails from our Member Services team and be in touch at any time if you have any questions or feedback.

Destination Vancouver’s Market Development team joined Team Canada and Vancouver partners in Australia last month to share key messages and products updates to trade and media partners. With stops in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, our team met with 400+ agents at the Viva Holidays Roadshows followed by Focus Canada B2B and Media Day. Destination Vancouver sponsored the media event and featured a specialty cocktail developed by Jeff Savage and the Botanist to highlight their MICHELIN Exceptional Cocktail Award.
