We are seeing a moderate change in hotel bookings along with a decrease in air bookings for next week compared to the current week.

Cheers to a Successful Autumn Member Mixer!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Autumn Member Mixer at the House of Funk Coffee Bar at The Den. It was a sold-out event that marked the end of our mixer season this year. We couldn’t be more pleased with the delicious food and drinks prepared by Bar Susu and House of Funk, and special thanks to our host, Hudson Pacific Properties for making the night a memorable and successful one. IEEE Vancouver Section Joins Destination Vancouver’s MIND Partnerships Network
Destination Vancouver’s Meetings & Conventions team is excited to welcome IEEE Vancouver Section to our MIND Partnerships network. This partnership reaffirms our shared commitment to strengthen the city as a thriving information exchange hub and to advance Vancouver’s local engineering community.
Demonstrating the value of Destination Vancouver’s MIND Partnership, Morgan Da Rocha and Michelle Taylor hosted a bid seminar with ten IEEE Vancouver Section leaders. The MIND Partnership empowers local experts to share knowledge and ultimately bring events to Vancouver that positively impact institutions, careers, grants, and research.

Call for participation in Gastown Public Spaces Plan
The City is taking steps to make Gastown’s unique streets, laneways and public spaces more people-friendly.
In response to Council direction, the City launched a public engagement process for the Gastown Public Spaces Plan to establish a shared vision for a vibrant destination with more seating, patios, live music, events, festivals and active transportation options.
The plan will also explore transforming Water Street into a pedestrian zone, either seasonally or year-round.
