The VTFMA is recruiting 3 facility manager members to the board. This can be a chief engineer, director of engineer or assistant team member working in a hotel or other tourism facility in Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver, Burnaby.

Last Call Program: A Collaboration with Vancouver City Council, #NotMe and Vancouver Liquor Serving Establishments
The Last Call program will involve 8-10 businesses in the service and hospitality industry to be part of a one-year pilot program that will provide sexual violence prevention training, policy workshops and data collection and monitoring to support businesses in creating systems that mitigate and prevent employees and the public from sexual violence. We are currently in recruitment and this pilot will launch in early 2023.
Participating establishments will receive 1 year subscription to the #NotMe app, free policy support, training, intensive supports and will be eligible to win a Health City Award and other recognitions.

PCMA’s Convening Leaders has long been recognized as one of the most important, influential, and inspiring conferences that takes place each year. This year Vancouver’s activation will focus on sustainability which will be featured in “The District”. Destination Vancouver and the Vancouver Convention Centre are PCMA Premier Partners. Jackie Kavcak, Dave Gazley and Michelle Taylor will be leading this initiative on behalf of Destination Vancouver.
